🏭 Cement board for prefabricated buildings

Cement Board for Prefabricated and Portable Buildings

Prefabricated buildings — including modular offices, temporary accommodation, site cabins, and permanent prefab residential structures — require cladding and internal wall boards that perform reliably without on-site climatisation. Terasun TSM cement board is inert, dimensionally stable, and does not require the drying period needed by gypsum-based products.

Prefabricated building performance

Lightweight 9.96 kg/m² — reduces transport weight in relocatable buildings

Non-combustible A1 — meets fire requirements for site accommodation

No drying or curing period required — ready for finishing immediately

Dimensionally stable — no movement during temperature cycling in unheated units

Moisture resistant — survives transport and site installation exposure

CE certified — required for permanent prefab buildings across the EEA

For portable and relocatable buildings, the combination of lightweight (9.96 kg/m² at 12 mm) and structural rigidity reduces transportation weight while maintaining wall performance. The non-combustible classification (A1) is often required by regulations for temporary and site accommodation buildings.
